Tremorna Farm
The location and the residents…
Situated on the Lands End peninsula, in an area of outstanding natural beauty and midway between the lovely Lamorna Cove and the famous fishing village of Mousehole, you will find the tiny hamlet of Castallack and our home Tremorna Farm.
Tre means homestead in Cornish and there has been a farm here for hundreds of years. Castallack is named after the prehistoric settlement close by and there are Iron Age and Roman remains all around us.
We are about four miles west of Penzance, twelve miles from St Ives with its wonderful beaches and just eight miles from Lands End. The fishing port of Newlyn is a stone’s throw away. Situated near the coast, the farm has far reaching views of both the beautiful Cornish countryside and the sea. You can see the Lizard Peninsula and its lighthouse from our farmyard and distant views of St Michael’s Mount from our top fields. The whole area is quite unspoilt and exudes peace
and tranquility.
We are very much a traditional working farm, with mainly Sheep and Devon Ruby Cattle, including our prize Devon Ruby bull, William.
We also have the beginnings of a small pedigree Ryeland sheep flock and we use the fleeces to produce beautifully soft knitting yarns.
Here at Tremorna you will also find our lovely Shire horses, pigs, hens, cats and dogs and even an African Grey parrot. Presiding over us all is Cyril, our sixteen year old bay Shire, who at 17 hands high, literally towers over us.

Our beautiful wedding & event and camping fields offer the most spectacular views over the beautiful Cornish countryside and sea.
Set within 65 acres of unspoiled farmland, this venue offers you the unique opportunity to be surrounded by nothing but countryside with only the cows, sheep and shire horses as company.
Our venue is a blank canvas ready for you to tailor as you wish. The three-acre Wedding & Event Field provides plenty of space to pitch a marquee or tipi and the camping field can accommodate all your guests. There’s also a parking field and running water included. Let your imaginations run wild to create your perfect outdoor wedding in a truly romantic and private setting!
We offer you a venue with few restrictions, catering for everything from wedding receptions, intimate parties & festivals to outdoor events.
WHITE RADISH CATERING
In 2014 we transformed the old cow shed and milking parlour into a professional catering kitchen. Our onsite caterers use produce from the farm & ingredients from local artisan producers to create delicious and imaginative dishes for you and your guests.
